2024 Color of the Year Unveiled: A Conceptual & Creative Photoshoot

In Easton, Maryland, my studio was the canvas for a playful, messy, and exploratory concept shoot. I wove the 2024 Color of the Year, Blue Nova by Benjamin Moore, into my unique style of photographing the female form. It was a collaboration with Deborah, a young and aspiring model, for a session with a loose plan and no fixed expectations. All shot on film and my new Fujifilm camera. This experience allowed me to experiment, try something new, and nurture the creative spirit for a fun and creative model photoshoot. 

A Dynamic Collaboration For a Creative Model Photoshoot 

Deborah, eager to break into the modeling industry, approached the shoot with a mix of excitement and nervousness. Together, we navigated the session, ensuring her comfort while gently pushing past her boundaries, particularly in capturing topless shots. The result was an engaging exploration of creativity, as well as capturing the essence of Deborah’s budding modeling journey.

2024 Color of the Year – Blue Nova

Centered around the vibrant Blue Nova, this creative model photoshoot explores the color’s dynamic visual impact. It also integrates it into the artistic representation of the female form. The interplay of shades, textures, and emotions becomes a canvas for experimentation and expression.

Eyesight Project | A Creative Manifesto

This was more than just a creative concept shoot; it sheds light on my broader creative endeavor, the “Eyesight” project. This initiative is a metaphorical lens through which reality is filtered, deconstructed, and reimagined. Serving as an interpretive tool, it reflects the artist’s gift to perceive and express the hidden facets of our world. The Eyesight project is a space for wild play and imagination. It showcases an ever-changing collection of personal and conceptual work captured primarily on film and Fujifilm, created outside of client sessions.
